The works of Bach and Handel rang out this weekend from a Jim Thorpe church.
It was the first time in almost two years.
Members of the Bach and Handel Chorale and Festival Orchestra have missed singing together and performing for the public. The pandemic may have changed a lot of lives but it has not taken away music and the group is rejoicing.
It really was great to do it again. It was great to get back in this church. We have a ball doing it. That's what I love about it the most. It's a whole good group of people. Everybody's local and nobody is a professional singer.
If you missed it, the chorale will perform the Christmas concert again this coming weekend. On Saturday they'll be at Saint John's Lutheran Church in Ringtown and on Sunday they'll be in Trexlertown at Saint Paul's UCC.
