Santa comes to town a little bit early to visit with a few Monroe County children.

The Cinder Inn in East Stroudsburg held the tenth annual "Sensitive Santa" event on Saturday. Kids with sensory sensitivity or disabilities were able to meet Santa and take a photo with him in a calm environment.

"The lighting is down there's no music, there's no loud noises. It just gives them that opportunity they wouldn't normally have if they were at he mall because they can't really handle an environment like the mall," Melissa Owens, NEPA Sensitive Santa Events Coordinator, said,

Owens says she keeps organizing the event to help families enjoy the holidays and to make sure everyone has an opportunity to talk to Santa.
