The Monroe County District Attorney’s office has released audio from two recent bomb threats that forced the Monroe County Courthouse to be evacuated. Detectives are asking for help to identify the people responsible for the threats. At this time it is unknown if these incidents are related. Recordings from the last two calls have been placed on the d-a's website. The June eleventh call was made from Dickson City in Lackawanna County to the Lackawanna County 9-1-1 center. The second call was made yesterday to Monroe County 9-1-1. It was made somewhere from the area of Washington Street in East Stroudsburg. The caller said there were multiple bombs inside and outside the courthouse. More information about those threats and the audio from the calls is available at monroecountyda.com.
