Police in Schuylkill County arrest three people, including two that are homeless, for stealing from a McAdoo church.

Several police departments responded to St. Mary's Church on West Blaine Street around seven o'clock Wednesday night for a reported robbery.

The priest and members of the church told police during mass two men and a woman entered the church and stole candles and community donations.

Police quickly located the three suspects and arrested them.

48-year-old Anthony Powell, homeless from McAdoo, and 27-year-old Brandy Lorah, homeless from Barnesville, are both charged with theft, receiving stolen property and conspiracy.

35-year-old David Benitez of McAdoo was also arrested but his charges are pending.

All three are in the Schuylkill County prison.
